Why Is the Democratic Party Obsessed With Killing Babies?

I know the title may offend some folks. but let’s be starkly honest about the action of abortion.

It kills innocent babies.

All human civilizations knew that pregnancies contained “babies” since God created human beings. And for most of history, fathers and mothers marveled at the miracle of conception that brought a baby girl or boy into the world to be loved, cherished, and fulfill their destiny.

But the 21st century Democratic Party knows no such love or wonder. They are obsessed with abortion for one diabolical reason.

Why Are the Dems Obsessed With Killing Babies? 

The Democratic Party has served as the main engine of abortion in America since Roe v. Wade began stalking the nation in 1973. From 1973-2021 over sixty-three million babies were killed in our nation’s abortuaries–nearly 20% of the U.S. population.

One fifth of our fellow Americans never saw the light of day, attended school, pursued a vocation, married and had their own kids, or made their impact on the future (with a high percentage of them being African American).

They were killed in womb by the Democratic Party and its proxies. 

Thanks to President Trump and his SCOTUS appointments, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Roe. v. Wade on June 24, 2022, rightly returning the abortion decision to the states. That was an important victory in the fight for life.

But 600,000 human beings are still being killed annually and the Democrats are to blame.

Plus, they’ve changed. For many decades, some Democrats called abortion a “personal tragedy,” that “there should be as few abortions as possible,” or “they were personally against abortion but couldn’t force their opinions on other people.” 

But in the last few years, this semblance of shame over the taking of tiny human lives has morphed into actually celebrating killing unborn children, being willing to do it right up until delivery (and sometimes after birth), some Democratic states paying for women to come and have abortions, and the Justice Department sending armed gunman to harass and intimidate pro-life folks who are trying to save children from dying. 

Recently, Chuck Donovan of the Daily Signal reported that a cabal of Democratic senators want to intimidate and shutdown the USA’s largest group of pregnancy counseling center:

Elizabeth Warren and six other Democratic senators have launched an unfounded and illegitimate inquiry against Heartbeat International, the world’s largest network of pro-life pregnancy care centers, with locations in every state and dozens of foreign countries.

What these seven elected officials should do is take a step back from partisan invective and actually visit a pregnancy care center in their own state. By talking with the very women and families whose lives have been changed for the better by visiting a center, they will find goodwill and excellence in care that reach far beyond the value of Big Abortion’s dollars.

Visiting a pregnancy resource center, rather than launching screeds by mail, would be a lovely and enlightening thing to do.

And yesterday, on October 18, 2022, amidst raging inflation in the country, an open southern border where five million illegals have crossed since he took office, and widespread violence in numerous Democratic-run cities in America, President Biden took to national television to tell the American people what was our main problem:

Abortion.

What? Is this man crazy? (That’s a discussion for another day.)

Facing a well-deserved red tsunami in three weeks because of terrible Democratic policies in America, President Biden said America’s biggest need is to nationally codify Roe v. Wade and kill more babies.

That’s an obsession with murder.

Yes, I said murder, because that’s the basic definition of killing an innocent person. No one is more innocent than an unborn, helpless child.

It’s true that abortion has been a wretched phenomena for thousands of years. But only for those without an awakened conscience (the subject of many of my past blogs). As early as 400 B.C., human civilizations realized that respect for life came from natural law and was embraced by all that practiced the healing arts going back to the Hippocratic Oath.

Ancient doctors swore:

“I will give no deadly medicine to any one if asked, nor suggest any such counsel; and in like manner, I will not give to a woman a pessary to produce abortion.” 

Until the doctors became Democrats in the late 20th century. 

So, why is the Democratic Party obsessed with killing babies?

Is it women’s rights? Sounds good and laudable. But the wisest of U.S. presidents–Abraham Lincoln–punctured that flimsy argument with these words: “No human being has a right to do wrong.”

Since the dawn of time, the establishment of the Hippocratic Oath, and the spread of God’s truth throughout the world via the Christian faith, killing innocent people, especially babies, has been viewed as the worst of all wrongs.

Is it about power? To some degree. Women killing their children gives them power over the unwanted consequences of their actions. And President Biden gave his abortion speech yesterday because he wanted to mobilize his base to vote for Democrats on November 8.

The Dems want to retain power. But that’s not a virtue, for women or politicians.

Compassion? No, not for the one dead human being in every abortion.

So, what is the most accurate word that explains the Democratic Party’s obsession with abortion? 

Satan.

I know he’s a person most of them don’t believe in (being the 21st century party of atheism), but the only logical explanation for the Dem’s obsession with killing babies comes back to the real, invisible spiritual devil who has deceived them into thinking that killing babies is a good thing.

We know many things about Satan, Lucifer, or the devil from the Bible. He comes in the form of a serpent in the book of Genesis and “deceives” Adam and Eve. He later appears in the book of Job where he wreaks havoc on Job and his family, but God uses it for good in Job’s life, understanding, and future.

Jesus told us the most about the supreme fallen angel. He said that Satan was a “liar and the father of lies,” (John 8:44). Referring to our spiritual enemy at “the thief,” Jesus tells us Satan comes to “steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10).

Do those four things sound familiar in today’s secular world being pushed by the Democratic Party:

• Lying, deceiving – the “fake news” we face almost daily from a Democratic media and press.
• Stealing – Rising taxes, inflation, and pushing socialism–all of which “steal” from  individuals  and families to empower a tyrannical state.
• Killing – sixty-three million innocent lives through abortion in forty-nine years.
• Destruction – open borders, sky-rocketing crime, increased drug use, and gangs (plus Antifa) tearing apart American cities.

Satan’s raging influence has been unleashed throughout America in the early 21st century through the Democratic Party and its cancel culture allies because of the the decay of biblical conscience and the lack of the fear of God upon our people, institutions and culture.

It is Satan who is obsessed with killing the image of Jesus in America–and he’s convinced many Democratic leaders to follow his deception, even using “angel of light” arguments and smokescreens.

But the American people are waking up and will rebuke the murdering spirit and obsession on November 8, 2022.

Pray passionately for a God-sent revival. Get out and vote as if your life depended on it–because it might. Let your great obsession be seeking first Jesus’ kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

A noble goal.

And reject the evil lie of abortion.
