The Killing Party

Most members of my family were proud Democrats for generations. They revered FDR, thought the Democratic Party cared more for working people, and stood out as the party of “compassion.

Then the party left us. In the 2020’s, the Dems have radically changed into the party of Big Business, Leftist policies, runaway inflation, and against the good of the people. 

And in the 2024 elections, the Democrats appear to be are running on one primary issue.

Killing innocent babies (abortion).  

The Democratic Party is now the killing party.

The Killing Party

Some people don’t believe me when I say I’m not a “party” guy. But it’s true. I’ve never cared about labels or factions. For the past fifty years I have promoted moral reformation in society that comes through Jesus Christ and his biblical principles for living. Jesus saves human beings from their sins, and “doing his will on earth” brings numerous blessings to families and nations. 

If the “Aardvark Party” promoted biblical ideals in America and other nations, I’d vote for them. I’ve supported mostly Republicans during my lifetime because the GOP generally stands more for God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Yet, right now the Republican Party looks like the “Stupid Party” in our country. They seem hopelessly divided in the House of Representatives and often give in to the demands of the opposition–such as the recent 95 billion dollar foreign aid “omnibus.” In a Republican-controlled House, 112 Republicans (a majority) voted against their own Speaker.

At least some of the time, the Republican Party clings precariously to the Judeo-Christian principles that spawned American greatness over 200 years. I often vote for their candidates because they are the lesser of two evils and at least provide some political sanity.

On the other hand, the Democratic Party has morphed into the “Evil Party” this century. Their members normally vote as an unthinking block (campaign money-driven) for many things that hurt Americans and the world.

Maybe that’s why their theme for the 2024 campaign is killing innocent babies.

They are running on a culture of death.

Yesterday, President Biden traveled to Florida where he had the audacity to make the sign of the cross at a pro-abortion rally. Catholic Vote president Brian Burch rightly responded:

“Biden’s decision to make the Sign of the Cross in support of abortion extremism is a despicable charade that attempts to co-opt a sacred practice in support of his new abortion religion. His gesture openly mocks the Christian belief in the sanctity of life. There is no divine support for destroying the lives of innocent children, and he should know better. Biden’s gesture suggests he is either terribly naive, senile, or callously indifferent to the foundational beliefs of millions of Christians in America.”

Ironically, a woman and mother–Vice President Kamala Harris–is leading the charge nationwide to keep killing babies. In March, Kamala Harris visited an abortion clinic in Minnesota to champion the Democratic Party’s only issue. Fox News headlined her killing tour as “The Normalization of Evil.”

Sadly, after years of decline, abortion is now on the rise in the USA. Planned Parenthood is responsible for more than 400,000 of the latest killings (2022-23 stats) and received 700 million dollars from taxpayers (Democrat funding) to get rid of young Americans.

The Cambodian genocide that historians call the “Killing Fields” took place 1975-79 and killed possibly two million innocent people. In the past fifty years we have killed 67 million innocent Americans through abortion. That’s at least one-in-five sacrificed on the altar of sexual promiscuity and narcissism. 

All increasingly championed by the Democratic Party.

But the party of Jefferson and Jackson are also “killing” other areas of American life.

They are killing free speech in the United States through cancel culture and silencing dissent. In the name of stopping disinformation, they spread spurious lies (like Russian Collusion and Covid vaccines aren’t harmful) to achieve their governmental ends.

They have systematically destroyed the nuclear family through no fault divorce laws, sexual perversion and confusion, taking away parental rights, and hurtful welfare programs that encourage single parenting–the main cause of poverty and unhappiness in society.

For the past decade, they have tried to kill the idea of male and female–a basic truth in human society for thousands of years. They’ve created gender confusion, a lucrative gender mutilation industry (in the name of “Affirming Care”), and encourage boys and girls at school to “change sexes” without telling their parents.

The president of the United States and the Democratic Party are brazenly and unlawfully killing our nationhood via an open border–something unthinkable a generation ago. A nation without borders is not a nation. They do it for political gain (new voters) and the satisfaction of destroying what they view as an “oppressed” society.

They are killing our public schools and universities across the land. Secular education and monopolistic teachers unions are killing kids’ gender identities, test scores, understanding of history, and skill development–all in the name of progressive anti-racism.

The Democratic Party, which controls most urban centers in the U.S., is killing whole American cities through rogue district attorneys, no bail laws, treating criminals better than victims, and rationalizing the need for law and order while hating the police.

They are killing arts and entertainment through virtue signaling in Hollywood, punishing believers in God and conservatives for their views, and using sports to push Marxist ideology through groups like Black Lives Matter. (Note the lack of creative genius in modern art forms. Creativity flourishes in a God-saturated culture who are in tune with their Creator.)

The Democrats are killing a woman’s right to compete fairly in sports. Males are generally stronger and faster than women due to God-given distinctions. Allowing men-who-say-they’re women to complete against biological females is stealing away many feminine dreams.

They are destroying capitalism in the U.S. economy through high taxation, monstrous deficits, onerous regulations, climate-change hysteria, and creeping governmental takeover of industry. The infamous “Global Reset” centers on abolishing private property (including money) for one purpose: control. Authoritarian restraints kill freedom. That’s the point.

Democratic leaders are killing the heart of the American dream–owning your own home–through inflation and government regulations. The fiat money they keep printing painfully drives up home costs and rental expenses. (Remember the Monopoly game you played as a kid? More money, more bidding wars on everything on the board.) 

In sum, it appears that the Democratic Party wants to kill spiritual and physical prosperity in America so that in the chaos that ensues, they will emerge as our new masters.

That’s why Dennis Prager wisely says, “The Left destroys everything it touches.” 

Why? Because either consciously or via deception, they are following the selfishly ambitious pride of the devil and his fallen angels. Jesus said:

The thief comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

That’s the choice we face in America: to allow the 21st century Democratic Party kill and destroy every vestige of our Judeo-Christian heritage, or to rise up with greater passion than them to bring spiritual, moral, political, and institutional renewal to the United States and world.

The Democratic Party is hell-bent on killing America. What will you do?

I hope we stop them at the polls in November (kill their destructive agenda) while humbling ourselves before God and asking Him to revive America again (Psalm 85:6).
