Destroying the Foundations–Censorship
In coming months, outside of seasonal topics and breaking news, I want to share my concerns about the erosion of biblical principles in the Western World.
We are rapidly losing our Bible-based foundations through an onslaught of evil from the demonic world, an increasingly ignorant populace, and a sleepy, backslidden Church.
Russ Walton and Verna Hall pointed me to Psalm 11:3 a generation ago:
“If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?”
Good question.
Let’s start with some thoughts on growing censorship in our world.
Destroying the Foundations–Growing Censorship
During our lifetime, and especially since the turn of the millennium, there has been an increasing deterioration of biblical foundations in our culture–with devastating effects.
Here’s the history.
Europe was the continent of development of Bible-based culture. It was never perfect and was fraught with human failure. But over the centuries, and accelerated by both the Enlightenment and Reformation, the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule spawned the Western World with its freedoms, stability, prosperity, and ideals.
The United States went further than Europe. We championed God-given human rights, free speech. business enterprise, strong families, righteous defense (military), saw periodic revivals, and became the continent of propagation of the Good News of Jesus.
Europe is a relatively stable continent and the U.S. an exceptional nation because of our biblical cultural moorings. That’s why millions of people emigrated to the USA legally and many now force their way illegally across our open southern border.
They want the blessings of freedom (that come from Bible-based living).
Faith in God leads to morality, and morality produces freedom and its numerous fruits.
But faith/morality/freedom needs to be renewed in every generation. Ronald Reagan said it best:
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where [people] were free.
In the 2020’s we are losing our freedoms. Exhibit A?
Free speech being overrun by censorship.
I’m glad Fox News fired Tucker Carlson. Now he’s free to travel the globe and bring people to his “cabin” for the best interviews on the planet.
His recent conversation with Mike Benz, head of Foundation for Freedom Online, was mind-bending on the rising power of cyberspace censorship.
The interview has drawn more than 120 million views.
You need to watch it to understand growing censorship in our day. I watched the one-hour segment twice. The first time, I felt I was being hosed by an information fire hydrant. Benz is the clearest articulator of the dangers of global censorship I’ve ever heard.
His breadth of understanding gives credence to how a one world government might be achieved and manipulated–all through cyberspace. Militaries won’t be needed as the main warfare will be cyber elites telling the global peasants what is mal-information. misinformation, and disinformation–and what is “true” from their point of view.
They will control our minds.

Here are some key points.
Today’s Internet was born through the cooperation of universities, governments, and their war departments. Intelligence folks have always been at the forefront of the global communications revolution.
Many of the early leaders of the CIA FBI, NSA, and social media companies now control the use of Internet information distribution in the USA and world through quasi government entities such as the Atlanta Group and Aspen Institute.
Prior to the emergence of social media in 2004-2010, governments and their media allies controlled the information the public received (based on mostly biblical values).
But after Facebook, Twitter (X), and all the other social platforms came into being, individual people with “followings” on social media began to present a challenge to the titans of information flow.
Until about 2014, cyber information warfare was primarily focused outward on promoting “democracy” around the world such as the “Arab Spring” and the 2014 popular uprising that saw former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich removed from office. These movements were aided and abetted by cyber information warfare.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) also used cyber warfare/censorship to root out and silence Isis sympathizers in the Western World. But then they turned those capabilities against the American people by censoring what they called mal/dis/or misinformation.
When Donald Trump was elected in 2016, cyber warfare was turned inward to protect all the interests and priorities of the military/industrial/technological elites. From promoting “democracy” around the world, the focus pivoted to “preserving democracy” within which an outsider president challenged.
This is not the preservation of the will of the people, but preserving the power of information overlords to lead a globalist agenda.
AI technology was invented to determine what was being said and was trending on the Internet/ social media. The technology was then used to censor viewpoints that didn’t go along with the IT elites. The censorship “of the people” was strongest during the Russia Collusion Hoax, the 2020 US presidential election, and the Covid Pandemic. During these events, contrary opinions were limited or squashed to make sure the American people heard what the cyber masters wanted them to hear.
Online censorship is now one of the biggest forms of evil in our world–with the ability to manipulate the entire globe toward a particular point of view. It is completely un-democratic and based in information tyranny. The tyranny is backed up by the policing/military power of governments.
Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter (now “X”) is the only major bright spot for freedom of speech on the Internet. He is difficult to attack by the elites because of his control of many low orbit satellites and Starlink. But they are trying to diminish his ability to encourage free speech by a “thousand cuts”–especially in Europe.
Donald Trump is once again a major threat to the global censorship complex. It’s full resources are being released to stop him from regaining the U.S. presidency in 2024. Watching the Internet titans try to destroy Donald Trump should remind us that:
The enemy (Trump) of your enemy (globalists) is your friend.
Even if you don’t like his personality and whims.
As I’ve previously written, Trump is the “Samson” of our day.
Ryan Bangert of the Alliance Defending Freedom warned the National Religious Broadcasters in February:
All across the world, we’re seeing government become ever more bold in attempting to directly censor the speech and the messages being communicated by citizens.
He mentioned the case of Päivi Räsänen, a Christian member of Finland’s parliament who tweeted her objection to her church’s involvement in an LGBTQ parade. For that, prosecutors charged her for “hate speech.”
He also referenced Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, director of the U.K. March for Life, who got arrested in the United Kingdom for the crime of silently praying—in her head—outside an abortion clinic. She was approached by law enforcement officers who said, “‘What are you thinking? Are you praying in your mind?” When she said “Yes,” they arrested her.
Astoundingly evil.
We must pray and fight against censorship in all its forms.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).
