An Average Joe Committed to Jesus
On September 1, 2023, just seven miles from our home, Coach Joe Kennedy of the Bremerton Knights knelt silently on the fifty yard line and prayed for ten seconds after a football game.
He had been prevented from doing so for eight long years as he fought for the right to pray in public in our once faith-based nation.
I admire Coach Kennedy, though I’ve never met him. We need more people like him.
We need more average Joe’s who are committed to Jesus.
Is Our Money Safe?
The recent failure and bailouts of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, plus the politically motivated indictment of President Trump, have our nation on edge.
They should–especially the banking problem. It affects everyone–possibly disastrously.
Is our money safe?
Asbury Revival: It’s What We’ve Been Praying For
I have been praying for revival in America for nearly fifty years. Often it has been a daily prayer. Weekly, I devote my Friday quiet time to intercede for spiritual awakening in the United States.
On Wednesday, February 8, God brought a revival to Asbury University in Wilmore Kentucky that is spreading to other campuses and states.
Here are my thoughts on the Asbury Revival.
It’s what we’ve been praying for.
