The Trump Inaugural Ignites a World View Civil War
I hope you watched some of the inauguration activities of America’s 45th president, Donald J. Trump, on January 20, 2017. Hundreds of thousands of people came to Washington, D.C. for the event and prayed for, listened to and supported the new POTUS.
The next day, hundreds of thousands of women marched and rallied on the National Mall. Other marches also took place in some America cities and nations. It was quite a weekend. Two events. Two different groups, messages and behaviors.
Here’s my take: The Trump Inaugural has ignited a worldview civil war in the United States.

The Obama Farewell–My Thoughts and Prayers
I wrote my very first blog eight years ago when Barack Obama was seeking the office of the presidency. Since then, some four hundred subsequent articles have come and gone with 23 of them devoted to our 44th president.
Tuesday night, President Barack Obama gave a Farewell Address in his hometown of Chicago. I listened carefully to the speech and tried to absorb what I was hearing and seeing.
Who is Barack Hussein Obama and how will he be judged by history? More importantly, how is his legacy as a leader of the Free World seen by the God of Heaven?
Here is my humble assessment. I’d love to hear yours. Read More
My View of the World–2017
Happy New Year to you all, in the year of our Lord 2017.
Scientists/theologians now speculate that Jesus Christ was born sometime between 4-6 BC. That means it’s actually been 2021-23 years since His incarnation, and roughly 1988-91 years since Jesus’ death and resurrection changed the world (the focus of my previous blogs).
So what is my view of the world in 2017?
I hope it encourages you.
I usually spend significant time in December praying over the coming year. Long ago I noticed a pattern of “seven years” in my work and ministry. I view those periods as chapters in God’s plan for my life.
Last year I turned sixty-three, so nine chapters are finished and a new one begins. If God allows me seven more years, how does He want me to use it? What are my heavenly assignments? How can I be a part of what God is doing on earth?
Let’s take a 30,000 mile view on a number of topics. What’s your perspective?
Here’s mine. Read More
