Freedom Wins: The Primary Lesson from the Kavanaugh Victory
October 6, 2018 should go down in history as a “Day of Renewal” in the United States. It brings to mind the following Scripture that was used to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 (actually July 2, but the press got it wrong):
“Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants” (Leviticus 25:10).
This particular verse is fittingly inscribed upon the Liberty Bell, enshrined near Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It speaks of the triumph of law, principle, truth, and victory over mobs and tyrants.
Justice Kavanaugh’s victory as the 114th justice of the United States declares the same.
Freedom wins.
What is the primary lesson from the Kavanaugh victory?
The Kids Are Being Bamboozled About Gun Deaths
On Saturday, the “kids” of America are taking to the streets for “The March of our Lives” against gun violence. One would think these events–supposedly 819 different marches all over the world–are being led by young people passionate for their safety.
Think again. The Women’s March Movement, Planned Parenthood, MoveOn.org, and a host of other radical organizations committed to diminishing and secularizing America are major players behind the curtain. These groups are even providing propaganda talking points for the youngsters and millions of dollars in backing.
I love young people and have dedicated my life to serving them in youth ministry. But most kids are way too immature to get what’s happening in our culture.
In this march the kids are being bamboozled about gun deaths.
Do Women Hold the Key to America’s Future?
The stark contrast and worldview difference between the recent March for Life and the Women’s Marches could not be more glaring.
One march peacefully encouraged the stoppage of the world’s single greatest holocaust–the slaughter of 60 million innocent children in America since 1973. The other profanely applauded the barbarism of baby-killing and while displaying signs depicting a litany of progressive causes.
Women stood at the center of both marches–and are rising in power in America society.
