Capitol Riot Ignites Fascist Fury in America
Riots are always evil because they’re violent, selfish, and lack self-control–the key quality of a self-governing people.
It is no mistake that God inspired the Apostle Paul to place “self-control” at the end of his list of godly character qualities (Galatians 5:19-23). It is the one that controls all others.
All who participated in the Capitol riot should be prosecuted and jailed. Their behavior led to five deaths, property damage, fear among our lawmakers and angst among the populace.
But the Capitol riot has now ignited a far greater evil in America.
Fascist fury has been unleashed.
My View of the World 2021
I have written over 500 blogs since 2008. Most years I use the first week to share “My View of the World” to stimulate both your thinking and actions.
This piece may be the most important one I have ever written.
I believe the United States and the Western World have reached a possible tipping point of which there could be no return. Two negative and positive scenarios stare us in the face.
But, let not your heart be troubled (John 14:1). God is guiding history.
Here is my view of the world in 2021.
My Visit to Plymouth Rock–Happy Thanksgiving
Recently I joined a conference call with Dr. Paul Jehle, the unofficial historian of Plymouth, Massachusetts celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Compact. This incredible document, the first political expression of biblical ideas in the New World, had profound impact on American history.
This Thanksgiving we should thank our brave Pilgrim forefathers for their vision, wisdom and sacrifice that led to the making of the United States.
I learned that truth thirty-two years ago through a visit to New England (as recorded in my journal).
My visit to Plymouth Rock.
