Faith
Be Faith Full
No, that’s not a typo in the title. I know how to spell the word “faithful. ”
I just typed it that way for emphasis.
The secular world often labels followers of Jesus “the faithful,” and their definition seems to imply we’re loons, fanatics, or non-thinking people. The truth is quite the opposite.
Faithfulness is a main characteristic of God (Psalm 92:2)–and should describe us also.
Here’s what it means.
My USA Midterm Elections Plea
There are three primary ways we can make a positive difference in people’s lives.
First, in every country, you can intercede for God to intervene, save, and bless the affairs of individuals and your nation. Second, in all nations, you can make a personal impact through works of compassion, service, wisdom, and truth-sharing with others.
Third, only in free nations, can you make a difference by voting consistently and wisely for good leaders.
Here is my USA midterm elections plea to all who care about America’s future.
Eve of Deception
“Eve of Destruction” was a popular Barry McGuire protest ballad back in the 1960s (written by P.F. Sloan in 1965). It spoke of a world coming apart by the forces of evil during the peak of the Vietnam War.
McGuire eventually met Jesus as his Lord and Savior and changed his tune from being a harbinger of death to a prophet of life. He has done concerts for our Youth With A Mission constituency on a number of occasions.
Destruction is usually the end result of deception that we now face on a massive scale in the 21st century.
Are we currently experiencing an Eve of Deception?
