The Kids Are Being Bamboozled About Gun Deaths
On Saturday, the “kids” of America are taking to the streets for “The March of our Lives” against gun violence. One would think these events–supposedly 819 different marches all over the world–are being led by young people passionate for their safety.
Think again. The Women’s March Movement, Planned Parenthood, MoveOn.org, and a host of other radical organizations committed to diminishing and secularizing America are major players behind the curtain. These groups are even providing propaganda talking points for the youngsters and millions of dollars in backing.
I love young people and have dedicated my life to serving them in youth ministry. But most kids are way too immature to get what’s happening in our culture.
In this march the kids are being bamboozled about gun deaths.
Let’s Go on Offense and Defense To Protect the Kids
The horrific Parkland, Florida shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018 has once again unleashed a massive national debate about guns and safety. Young people lobbied in Tallahassee, police were blamed for timidity and cowardice, and new laws are being discussed.
I’m all in favor of dealing with evil and saving lives. I just want an honest and big picture debate that has little to do with political biases and much to do with solving the problem.
That means going on offense and defense to protect the kids.
My View of the World–2018
It’s interesting how many people divide life into sacred and secular–as if “reality”” can be parceled into two different sectors.
For example, many writers on politics and world affairs rarely mention God, His principles or His purposes. They talk about political parties, issues, national affairs, and “worldly stuff” (secular)–as if God and His Kingdom don’t exist.
Others write about missions, prayer, world evangelism etc. and never seem to mention the things that are happening in the “world” that greatly affect these thrusts.
Here’s my perspective on the world–2018–from both a political and spiritual perspective. You can’t understand one without the other.
